International Patient Unit (IPD): It is a unit in the hospital whose task is to make the necessary arrangements to provide diagnostic and treatment services to foreign patients.

International patient: is a foreigner who has visited the hospital to receive diagnostic and treatment services.

Medical tourism or health tourism is a trip to another country for the purpose of treatment. One of the reasons for this type of tourism is the lack of similar treatment methods, high costs, and the lack of advanced treatment technologies in the country of origin, on the other hand, due to the appropriate medical tariffs in Iran compared to other countries in the region and the provision of services.
